Norma A Nielsen Certified Professional Coach I trained as a coach with Coaching Development in the UK. I earned their Certificate in Coaching in 2007 and received my Diploma in Coaching with Coaching Development in 2009. I have attended further educational trainings with Coaches Training Institute, Focus Leadership and workshops offered in connection with International Coach Federation conferences in the US, UK, Canada and Switzerland. My strength as a coach is to help people reconnect with self and to access the whole and balanced leader within themselves. I generally work face-to-face as well as via the phone or Skype. I am a certified to use the following assessment tools:
DISC: DISC is the universal language of observable human behavious, or "how we act". DISC does not measure education, experience, values or intelligence. It simply measures and individual's behaviours, or how they communicate. it can provide a useful predictor of team effectiveness, by highlighting possible problem areas and suggesting ways of resolving these problems. Successful teams bring diverse skill sets and strengths to the table in an environment where each memeber of the team understands and values their own role as well as that of the other team members.
5 DYNAMICS: 5 Dynamics is an assessment tool that measures how people prefer to work, learn and collaborate. It maps the individuals' energies to the process for optimal results. It is based on process and not personality. By focusing on the process, business outcomes can be dramatically imporved and people feel a high degree of individual satisfaction. Teams rapidly learn how to interact with each other on the basis of process.
FEBI™: The FEBI™ (Focus Energy Balance Indicator™) is an instrument that provides insight into one’s preferences around four fundamental patterns of nervous system functioning that can be observed in movement, thoughts, feelings and everyday work behaviors. The FEBI™ demonstrates a powerful link between movement and temperament, and identifies ways that physical changes (e.g. movement) can lead to pervasive changes in human behavior.
